In a stunning announcement today, Senator Hillary Rodham-When-I’m-Speaking-at-NOW-Events Clinton (D-AR-NY) announced her Official Presidential Campaign Song: Celine Dion’s “You and I.”

That is not a typo or prank. Nor is it the spontaneous typings of ten thousand highly medicated monkeys.

It is the sad, sad truth of American politics.

As the 47 of you who have read my blog this past week know, I proffered a gentle reminder to the world that Celine Dion was not to be used for any marketing purposes whatsoever. And I know that Madam Senator was one of those 47 readers thanks to my handy-dandy IP address tracker.

Yet, she chose to go against the will of this American person and use Celine Dion anyway.

Celine Dion. A Canadian.
